About Dr Tuan Tran
Dr Tran completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales in 2012, receiving the Dean’s List award in 2010 for outstanding research. He subsequently completed internship and medical residency at Prince of Wales Hospital and joined the South Western Sydney Local Health District as a medical registrar in 2015.
He has worked across Prince of Wales, Nepean, Campbelltown, Liverpool, and Bankstown‑Lidcombe Hospitals, as well as regional centres including Wagga Wagga, Lismore, and Casino. He provides inpatient and outpatient care in both home and residential aged care environments.
Dr Tran teaches regularly at the University of New South Wales and was awarded Tutor of the Year (2023) by the UNSW Southwestern Clinical School. Outside of work, he is an avid middle‑distance runner and a busy father of two.
